How to clean blinds in 4 easy steps
How to Clean Blinds
Cleaning blinds doesn’t have to be hectic! First, determine what type of blinds you have and the manufacturer's recommendations for cleaning. For most blinds, start by dusting them with a microfiber cloth or vacuuming them with a brush attachment. For more thorough cleaning, fill a bucket with warm water and a few drops of dish soap or vinegar. Dip a microfiber cloth or sponge in the solution and wipe down each slat, starting from top to bottom. Rinse the cloth in clean water frequently, and avoid oversaturating the blinds. For harder-to-remove stains or built-up dirt, use a specialized blind cleaner or a mixture of baking soda and water. Once finished, use a clean cloth or towel to wipe off excess water and let the blinds air dry completely.
